What is a Jet pump?

IPC’s jet pump is a type of pump that uses a high-velocity flow of fluid to generate force and increase the pressure of a fluid, usually water, for a variety of purposes,including well pumping, water delivery systems, and industrial processes.It uses centrifugal force and the Venturi effect to pull fluid into the pump and then release it at a greater pressure. Types of Jet Pump?

There are two major types of jet pumps:

1. Shallow Well Jet Pump:

How does a jet pump work?

Basic Components:

A jet pump is made up of housing, an impeller, a diffuser, a nozzle, and one or more pipelines.

The impeller:

Suction Pipe (or Well Pipe):

The pressure pipe (also known as the discharge pipe) transports the fluid from the pump to its final destination, which might be a building or storage tank.
