What is a Jet pump ?

Types of Jet Pump :

Jet pumps are classified into two main types based on the depth of the water source:

1. Shallow Well Jet Pump:

How does a jet pump work?

A jet pump operates on a simple yet powerful mechanism that uses centrifugal force and fluid velocity to lift water from a source and deliver it under pressure. Here’s a breakdown of the working process and the key components involved:

Basic Components of a Jet Pump :

Pump Housing :

The outer structure holds all internal components. Our jet pumps are built with a 304 stainless steel presses tensile pump body & pump cover, ensuring durability, corrosion resistance, and long service life.

Impeller :

A rotating component inside the housing. When powered on, the impeller spins at high speed, creating a centrifugal force that pushes water outward into the diffuser.

Diffuser:

A stationary component that surrounds the impeller. It slows down the high-speed water and converts the kinetic energy into pressure energy for efficient flow.

Nozzle :

A narrow opening connected to the drive pipe. It accelerates the fluid by forcing it through a constriction, creating a vacuum that draws more water from the source. Suction Pipe (Well Pipe) :
